This role leads a multi-disciplinary team consisting of technical pre-sales, business development managers, partner managers, and operations staff. The Director reports to the Global Head of PPSS based at SHI’s headquarters in New Jersey and collaborates closely with sales, operational, and finance leaders across the region. Job Summary The Director – PPSS Europe is responsible for driving growth and operational excellence across SHI’s key technology areas—Cyber Security, Networking, Data Center, and AI—within Europe, with a particular focus on expanding the UK market. This role leads a multi-disciplinary team consisting of technical pre-sales, business development managers, partner managers, and operations staff. The Director reports to the Global Head of PPSS based at SHI’s headquarters in New Jersey and collaborates closely with sales, operational, and finance leaders across the region. Role Description **Growth & Strategy** + Lead and achieve growth targets in key technology areas, focusing on pipeline development, gross margin, and partner engagement. + Align strategies with local and global stakeholders to maximize SHI’s market impact. + Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. **Operational Excellence** + Enhance departmental efficiency by aligning local practices with proven tools and processes from the US, while adapting to European market nuances. + Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and transparent communication. **Transformation Initiatives** + Support SHI’s brand transformation in Europe by working with sales and marketing on strategic initiatives and campaigns. + Strengthen SHI’s partnership strategy with manufacturers, distributors, and service partners to optimize market positioning. **Leadership & People Development** + Mentor and develop the leadership team and broader staff, leveraging both global and local development programs. + Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive culture across all departments and geographies. + Build strong relationships with local Sales and Operations + Develop the team to become recognised technology vertical leaders + Drive adoption of tools, automation, dashboards, and governance for metrics-driven performance culture Behaviors and Competencies + Strategic thinking and execution + Effective leadership and team development + Exceptional communication and collaboration + Advanced problem-solving and decision-making + Strong customer-centric focus and results orientation + High adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement + Engage with key partner executives to influence channel program design and rebate opportunities Skill Level Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience + Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales, Partnerships, or related fields + At least 3 years in a leadership role + Proven expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and sales leadership + Advanced proficiency with CRM software Other Requirements + Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as needed Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
