Essential duties and responsibilities:
As a Director of multiple work teams, incumbent will manage or assist in the management of the work group to include mentoring and coaching employees, conducting performance reviews, participating in employment and termination decisions, and providing associated training.
Develops annual division goals that align with corporate, business unit and region goals and objectives.
Routinely monitors all key areas of performance and develops plans to ensure company, business unit, region and division goals and objectives are accomplished.
Oversees coordination of field operation and maintenance activities with Gas Control, Engineering, Business Development, EH&S and Finance Departments.
Promotes and stewards division operations & maintenance budgets. Oversees and administers approved budgets.
Directs division's performance to meet or exceed all safety, budgetary, and regulatory compliance requirements and ensures alignment with corporate goals, including KM's Operational Excellence initiative.
Coordinates, prepares or maintains various reports, records, and other documents concerning maintenance and operations issues, expense management, safety & regulatory compliance, and employee administrative issues.
Develops and actively stewards manager/employee development to meet changing staffing needs for all areas.
Provides frequent communication to employees via email, conference calls, presentations, and group and one-on-one meetings to disseminate meaningful information, communicate goals, promote positive performance and develop strong company culture.
Actively promotes all Corporate and HR initiatives and ensures compliance in all recruiting, promotional opportunities and in the employee disciplinary process.
Maintains a current working knowledge of regulatory and company operating requirements and coordinates activities with regulatory agencies, other company departments, customers, the public and Senior Management.
Ensures all division employees are familiar with manuals, policies/procedures and technical standards.
Depending on the level of an incident, a person in this position may be required to act as Incident Commander and Qualified Individual for an emergency response and as leader of the division Emergency Response Team. Coordinates emergency response activities in conjunction with the Crisis Management Team. Activates and coordinates the Crisis Support Team if necessary. May act as the KM spokesperson to the media in the event of an emergency with media coverage.
Ensures overall environmental impact in the event of a hazardous product release.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Pay range is $168,400 - $252,600 per year. This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill sets.
