**We are searching for the best talent for the position of Director of Operational Excellence in Jacksonville, FL!**
**Purpose:** The Director of Operational Excellence will have responsibility to architect and deploy the Lean Business Operating System across the Jacksonville manufacturing plant. This role will have 4 direct reports and directly support the Lean Transformation of a $1.5B revenue site. This is an exciting opportunity to create and implement a groundbreaking process that will transform the operational landscape at Johnson & Johnson. and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Developing the Lean Business Operating System and overall strategy for transforming the organization, including strategy deployment, tools, implementation, and training.
+ Leading the site Operational Excellence team and site leadership team through a process to systematically find opportunities to enhance operational performance and site business processes through internal/external benchmarking and continuous improvement tools.
+ Aligning strategy with tactics for Lean deployment initiatives (Lean Roadmap).
+ Utilizing data, best practices, and prior Lean deployment experience to identify performance gaps and collaborate with local leaders to develop and execute improvement plans.
+ Facilitating impactful improvements through utilization of continuous improvement tools, Kaizen funnel processes, and systems to enhance plant safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and reduce waste.
+ Creating Lean competencies in leaders and employees at all levels; identifying future Lean talent and coaching for career advancement opportunities.
+ Identifying new product processes for appropriate Operational Excellence and Lean tool application.
+ Understanding and applying financial drivers and key performance indicators.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
**Experience and Skills:**
**Required:**
+ Lean Six Sigma Certification from an industry recognized program.
+ 10+ years of proven leadership skills and experience deploying an operating system for a multi-functional, highly automated, and complex supply chain manufacturing site.
+ 5+ years of direct people leader experience in a multi-functional organization.
+ Experience with implementing Strategy Deployment/Hoshin across a business or for a division.
+ Expert knowledge of Lean Methodology and implementing Lean tools, including but not limited to: Visual Management, Daily Management, Transactional Process Improvement, Standard Work/Leader Standard Work, Problem Solving, 6S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 8 wastes, Gemba walks, etc.
+ Strong business and financial acumen.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to transparently communicate and relate to people at all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and present findings.
+ Demonstrated ability to model corporate values and principles, including instilling a high performance, people-driven culture.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and general computer skills.

+ English Fluency required
+ Travel up to 20% of the time domestically and/or internationally is required
