The Director of Vaccines Commercial Modernization Excellence will be a critical role reporting to the Head (VP) of Business & Technology Modernization, in the US Vaccines Commercial Operations Business Unit. This role combines strategic thinking with analytical rigor to help senior leaders drive business decisions and achieve commercial excellence. This position will help ensure commercial excellence through innovative go-to-market strategies, modernization and operational transformation, and data-driven decision making while ensuring effective communication and execution of the VP's strategic priorities. The role combines leadership with execution excellence to accelerate business growth, optimize commercial operations, and champion modernization initiatives across the Vaccines portfolio. We seek a dynamic leader to drive process optimization initiatives while elevating our commercial capabilities and contributing to our strategic vision.

**Main Responsibilities**
**Strategy & Transformation**
+ Lead the assessment of innovative go-to-market strategies to maximize value and drive growth of Modernization of commercial initiatives
+ Work on projects to identify new market opportunities, business models, and initiatives to help the commercial teams through market analysis, competitive intelligence, voice of customer
+ Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategies that align process optimization with commercial and business priorities
+ Identify strategic opportunities to create competitive advantage through improved processes and commercial capabilities
**Process Optimization & Operational Excellence**
+ Design and implement end-to-end process optimization initiatives across the commercial value chain
+ Lead cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement scalable solutions
+ Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure operational effectiveness and drive accountability
+ Leverage data analytics and digital tools to enable data-driven decision making and process automation
**Project Management, KPIs & Transformation**
+ Direct complex transformation initiatives from concept through implementation and value realization
+ Establish project management methods and governance structures to drive transformation and measure KPIs
+ Design comprehensive project roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical path management
+ Create tracking mechanisms to measure and communicate transformation results to executive stakeholders
+ Foster a project management discipline that balances rigor with agility to accelerate transformation timelines
+ Lead of team of project managers overseeing transformation projects or operational initiatives
**Commercial Excellence & Market Impact**
+ Develop and implement commercial excellence frameworks to enhance go-to-market strategies
+ Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to translate process improvements into measurable commercial outcomes
**Strategic Communications**
+ Create compelling narratives that articulate the business case for transformation and inspire organizational action
+ Establish communication cadences and channels to ensure transparency and awareness of strategic priorities
+ Partner with corporate communications to align modernization messaging with broader corporate narratives
**Organizational Development & Governance**
+ Lead change management programs or a team of managers to facilitate adoption of new strategies, customer models, and technologies
+ Design and implement structured approaches to organizational change that maximize stakeholder buy-in and minimize disruption
+ Create compelling change narratives that articulate the vision and business case for transformation initiatives
+ Build organizational capabilities and governance structures to sustain change and drive continuous improvement
+ Coach leaders and teams through the change process, providing tools and frameworks to navigate transitions effectively
+ Build and mentor a high-performing team of process optimization and commercial excellence professionals
+ Establish governance structures to prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
**Executive Support**
+ Support the Senior Leader, managing critical priorities and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives
+ Coordinate and synthesize input from multiple stakeholders to enable effective decision-making
+ Manage the Senior Leader’s strategic agenda, ensuring alignment between daily activities and long-term organizational objectives
**About You**
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
+ Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA strongly preferred
+ 3-5 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier firm
+ 8-10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare commercial strategy, operations, or management consulting
+ Proven track record developing and implementing successful business transformation programs
+ Experience supporting executive leadership in a strategic capacity
+ Track record of effectively communicating complex initiatives to diverse audiences
**Knowledge & Skills**
+ Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercial models, market dynamics
+ Project management expertise, including experience with complex transformation initiatives
+ Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and analytical tools
+ Superior communication abilities with exceptional presentation, writing, and messaging development skills
+ Strong grasp of digital technologies and their application in pharmaceutical commercial operations
+ Exceptional analytical capabilities with ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
+ Expert project management skills with ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
+ Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence senior executives

The salary range for this position is:
$148,125.00 - $246,875.00
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
