As our new Director of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain — from Procurement and Manufacturing to Process Technology and Logistics. You will also be part of the HPP leadership team, where you are expected to actively contribute to the overall direction of the global business. Danfoss High Pressure Pumps (HPP) is an independent business unit with its own P&L responsibility
This is a broad and influential role that spans from setting the strategic agenda for the business unit and its supply chain to ensuring strong operational execution in daily production. You will work across strategic roadmaps, process improvements, and people development, while also staying close to shop floor operations where safety, quality, and delivery are in focus. The role is based in Nordborg, and you are expected to be on-site 3–4 days per week.
What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will
Lead and develop the HPP Supply Chain organization, including 30 white-collar and 50 blue-collar colleagues. Shape and execute the sourcing and manufacturing roadmap to secure long-term competitiveness. Ensure safe, cost-optimized, and on-time delivery of products to our customers. Drive and chair the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process across HPP. Build a culture of continuous improvement, with strong focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Oversee EHS processes and act as HPP Risk Manager. Represent HPP in Danfoss labor relations and contribute to the development of the HPP Business Unit Strategy
You will be part of the HPP leadership team and collaborate closely with colleagues in Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Group functions to ensure seamless alignment across Danfoss.
What We're Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced supply chain leader who thrives on combining strategy with operational excellence. To succeed, you bring
A Master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles. Documented experience with supply chain planning, productivity processes, and systems. A proven track record in at least two supply chain sub-functions (e.g., procurement, production, logistics, planning). Experience in leading leaders and developing teams through a leadership structure. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Danish and English. What You'll Get from Us
