Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sterile Formulation to lead the development of sterile and non-sterile compounded products. The successful candidate will create pricing strategies that balance quality, cost, and profitability, ensuring compliance with USP , , , and state/federal regulations. This role requires writing and updating SOPs, leading audits, and maintaining inspection readiness while collaborating with pharmacy, QA, legal, and procurement teams.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop sterile and non-sterile compounded products.Create pricing strategies that balance quality, cost, and profitability.Ensure compliance with USP , , , and state/federal regulations.Write and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).Lead audits and maintain inspection readiness.Collaborate with pharmacy, QA, legal, and procurement teams.Mentor a small team and drive continuous improvement.Essential SkillsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.Minimum of 7 years in sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.Experience in mail-order or large-scale pharmacy settings.Regulatory knowledge of USP , , .Proven ability to develop and execute strategic product plans and pricing models.Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including policy and SOP authorship.Experience working cross-functionally in regulated environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced certifications in compounding preferred.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
