Job Summary:

The Director of Sports Partnership Operations, in collaboration with Partnerships, Operations and Consumer Experience leadership, will be responsible for ensuring key operations are achieved on behalf of partnership strategies and that programs and services align with the vision set by AdventHealth and the partner to achieve/exceed business and consumer experience goals. This may include but is not limited to AdventHealth Training Center (Training Center) in partnership with the Orlando Magic, sports medicine protocols, evolved medical models and new revenue opportunities in connection with AdventHealth's sports partnerships. This position will work directly with the Strategic Partnerships team, site operations leadership, consumer experience, physicians, and Institute and Ambulatory leadership to ensure processes, services and customer service protocols are developed and implemented to achieve objectives. This role will be responsible for ensuring communication, measurement/tracking and reporting of key KPIs, problem solving and elevating any concerns to executive leadership. This Director will provide the connectivity between multiple business units, physicians, partners and service lines to ensure the operations of partnerships strategies meet their objectives.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Responsible for the overall sports partnerships business operations objectives and athlete/consumer experience expectations for key partnerships and strategies. -This will include but is not limited to the AdventHealth Training Center, Orlando Magic, Lakeland Magic, Solar Bears and Magic Gaming. -Works in collaboration with partnerships, strategy, consumer experience, physician leaders, ambulatory, acute-care and institute leadership to develop and implement operational and service strategies to meet the business objectives and plan for strategic growth including identifying, recommending, and at times implementing needs such as: staffing, services, connectivity and athlete/consumer experience. Responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting on overall objectives measurement including finance, consumer experience, volumes, etc. on a timely basis. Collaborates directly physician leadership, facility and services administrators/leadership on day-to-day operations problem solving and ensuring partner needs are met. Collaborates with facility and services site leadership to ensure alignment to vision of properties and services are met elevating any concerns that can impact performance and experience (consumer and partner) to executive leadership. Leads and evaluates overall athlete/consumer experience and collaborates with site and serviceline leadership to initiate and implement changes as needed ensuring the cosnumer's needs are put first to ensure a unique and seamless experience. Role in Governance Structure and Committees responsible for key KPIs for partnerships strategies that may include patient experience scores, wait times, volumes, throughput, consumer experience, partner communication, etc. Point person for physician leaders and team physicains to ensure partners' athletes' needs are met. Develops sports specific protocols to ensure seamless scheduling, physician to physician communication and billing. Collarborates on sports medicine model development in conjunction with physician operations and strategy leaders. Directs and manages Athlete Care Advocate program which includes care coordination/navigation, streamlined billing and communication with physicians to ensure sports partners' athletes care needs are met.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Role will be responsible to manage Athlete Care Advocate program (certified athletic trainers), multiple workgroups made up of different business unit leaders and high-level operations strategies and projects

Qualifications

What Will You Need:

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's in Sports Medicine, Health, Business Administration or related field

5 sports industry and/or sports medicine/healthcare experience

Strong leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization, displays emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively interface with a wide range of people from hospital CEO and senior executive management to physicians and front line clinical and non-clinical personnel.

Transformational leader and change agent capable of holding leaders/teams accountable to the vision and then enabling and implementing change.

Strategic, critical thinker with strong leadership and talent development skills.

Excellent organization, communication, and process management skills. Ability to problem solve, identify root causes of obstacles and address fundamental issues and concerns.

Preferred:

Master's in Health, Business Administration or related field

10 healthcare/sports medicine experience
