We are seeking a visionary and people-focused leader to serve as the Director of our Cambridge Source Office Assistant team. This individual will be responsible for shaping the strategy, growth, and operational excellence of a team of over 30 associates that are responsible for working with our financial professionals doing administrative tasks, client follow up, and gaining their trust in completing administrative duties. In this leadership role, you’ll drive the continued development of the Source Office Assistant program—ensuring it evolves to meet the dynamic needs of our business and clients. You’ll foster a positive, growth-oriented culture by mentoring team members, cultivating talent, and inspiring performance. The ideal candidate excels at building trust, scaling services, and leading through influence, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to our financial professionals. Essential Duties Own the vision, strategy, and execution of the Cambridge Source Office Assistant Program supporting financial advisors with administrative and client service tasks to ensure department effectiveness Lead a growing team of internal associates providing daily operational and client service support to our financial professionals. Provide coaching, performance management, career pathing and support to ensure high-quality service delivery and engagement within team Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence within the Office Assistant team. Develop and implement onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development programs to ensure consistency, compliance, and high-quality performance. Partner with financial professionals to understand their evolving needs and ensure the office assistant services are aligned to maximize efficiency and satisfaction. Identify and implement best practices, workflow improvements, and service enhancements using metrics and advisor feedback. Ensure services provided by assistants remain within regulatory and compliance boundaries of broker-dealer operations. Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Training to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of the program. Interface within the company in a professional and courteous manner to achieve the Company’s common goals and ensure communication of those goals and statuses to all necessary parties Education & Experience The ideal candidate would possess an intermediate level of experience, typically around 5+ years of experience in a a people-focused leadership role within the financial services industry. Certificates & Licenses This role requires the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 99 licenses. Candidates who do not currently hold these licenses must commit to obtaining both within 12 months of hire. Compensation: $100,000-125,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
