What you'll do:

As Director of Solutions and Delivery, you will be entrusted with converting strategic ambitions into practical solutions that place members at the heart of every initiative. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding multi-disciplinary teams through complex transformation programmes while ensuring seamless integration between process engineering, delivery operations, change management, and data intelligence. You will champion new approaches to working that foster both technological advancement and human-centred improvements. By leveraging your expertise in governance frameworks and regulatory requirements, you will enable informed decision-making at all levels. Your ability to build strong partnerships with internal leaders as well as external stakeholders will be crucial in representing Member Services across various forums. Translate complex strategic objectives into clear delivery plans that enhance member outcomes and maintain regulatory standards. Direct the activities of delivery, change management, and business intelligence teams to ensure cohesive execution of initiatives. Optimise the use of change budgets by prioritising projects with the greatest impact on service quality and efficiency. Build and nurture a high-performing leadership team across multiple disciplines including delivery, process engineering, change management, and data analytics. Foster a culture rooted in empowerment, collaboration, continuous learning, and alignment with organisational values. Oversee the design and optimisation of end-to-end processes to deliver efficient, scalable, and member-focused services. Promote progressive ways of working by staying ahead of industry trends and championing progress over perfection. Lead the development of operational data insights and independent performance reporting to support informed decision-making. Establish robust governance frameworks to ensure data quality, compliance with regulations such as Pensions Dashboard and The Pensions Regulator (TPR), and effective risk management. Represent Member Services in senior forums and enterprise-wide initiatives while building trusted relationships with trustees, sponsors, employers, and internal stakeholders.

What you bring:

To excel as Director of Solutions and Delivery, you will bring extensive experience from senior leadership roles within complex operational or service delivery settings—ideally within regulated industries such as pensions or financial services. you will also have:

Experience successfully managing significant transformation programmes involving cross-functional teams where measurable service improvements were achieved. Experience implementing data strategies supporting independent performance reporting while fostering cultures built on accountability, inclusivity, learning, and shared success. Demonstrated ability to translate complex organisational objectives into actionable delivery plans that drive positive member outcomes. Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across delivery operations, change management portfolios, process optimisation initiatives, and data analytics functions. Expertise in managing large-scale change portfolios with a focus on maximising impact through effective prioritisation of resources. Comprehensive knowledge of designing scalable operational processes that are both efficient and focused on member needs within regulated environments. Advanced proficiency in using data insights to inform decisions, drive performance improvements, and support independent reporting requirements. Track record of encouraging experimentation through both technology-driven solutions and people-led approaches for sustainable innovation. Experience establishing governance structures that enable timely decision-making while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as Pensions Dashboard or TPR guidelines. In-depth understanding of pensions regulation frameworks alongside broader regulatory awareness relevant to financial services or similar sectors.
