The University of Pittsburgh’s Athletics Department is currently seeking a qualified Director of Softball Operations and Player Development. Duties include but are not limited to: - Assisting in the administration of the Women’s Softball team - Coordinating travel logistics (including aircraft, ground transportation, lodging and meals) for home and away contests - Coordinating all logistical aspects for home and away practices and games for the team and staff - Assists with all team-related events; Assist in management of player and staff schedules. Assist with alumni events, budgeting, fundraising, and team newsletters.

Assists in the development of scouting reports, management of student-athletes, and correspondence with alumni.

Facilitates day-to-day operational and logistical recruiting processes, including coaches’ recruiting plans, schedules, and travel arrangements; develops specialized recruiting projects for head coaches and assistant coaches. Facilitates official and unofficial prospect recruiting campus visits; identifies and collects data and video on prospects; updates and maintains recruiting database. Assists coaches in the development of scouting reports. Assists coaching staff in the development and management of student-athletes; analyzes player data; assists in individual development plan for player development. Assists in maintaining alumni relations and directs alumni special events. Other duties as assigned by the head coach relating to the day-to-day operations of a Division I Softball program.
