Description Robert Half seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Service to lead multi-site service operations for a specialized technical services organization based in the Greenville, South Carolina area. This individual will oversee the service delivery lifecycle, including installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair services for high-precision equipment. The role requires strong operational leadership, profit and loss oversight, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers across diverse industries. Requirements + Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in service or operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. + Industry Knowledge: Background in technical services or specialized industries, with working knowledge of quality and compliance standards (ISO Experience). + Operational Leadership: Proven track record in leading multi-site service teams, managing complex schedules, and delivering high-quality service outcomes. + Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience managing budgets, profit and loss statements, and financial performance of service operations. + Process Excellence: Skilled in developing and implementing operational best practices, service delivery models, and efficiency improvements. + Customer Focus: History of building strong client relationships and resolving escalated service issues with professionalism. + Team Development: Ability to, train, and mentor managers and technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. + Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership communication skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. + Travel: Willingness to travel (company offices) domestically as required (less than 15%).
