The Sales Lead Director provides strategic guidance to field location leadership sales force teams to drive all lead types, lead accuracies and flows. This position also serves as the subject matter expert for creating intuitive dashboard reporting and for the functionality of the sales intelligence analytical tool.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Business and Financial Leadership**
+ Provide strategic guidance and reporting to drive revenue and lead activity from prospect to close
+ Resolve complex problems providing resolution guidance to sales leadership teams
+ Work with sales leadership to identify business challenges and trends in order to forecast sales goals
+ Work with leadership to provide advice and guidance on production
+ Using sales intelligence tools, generate and provide relevant customer data and business trends to sales leadership teams
+ Generate reports and dashboards on lead effectiveness against metric goals
+ Using sales intelligence tools, create daily reports and dashboards to prioritize leads and opportunities, missed leads, duplicate leads and areas of concern
+ Achieve monthly lead to sale rates and appointment set rates
+ Achieve quarterly attainment performance measures
+ Evaluate overall health of organization and provide feedback on missed and or potential greater opportunities
+ Work with market leadership and Corporate Departments on processes, technology needs and improvements
+ Collaborate with colleagues and market leadership to remove operational barriers, encourage ideas, and business or operational enhancements
**Communication and Training Leadership**
+ Daily conduct WebEx meetings with counselors, managers, and Sales Directors for guidance on opportunities, trends and goal attainments
+ Communicate lead opportunities with sales specific teams such as seminars
+ Provide training to counselors and managers to drive and follow through with leads
+ Mentor and coach Sales Managers accountable for leading pre-planning needs
+ Develop and implement communication plans for key initiatives and change management. Oversee implementation of initiatives and manage change providing leadership and guidance as needed.
+ Participate in the communication of long-term strategy and annual goals to sales leadership teams. Assist with cascading and messaging as needed
**MINIMUM** **Requirements**
**Education**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Development or related discipline preferred
**License**
+ Valid state driver’s license in good standing
**Experience**
+ Ten (10) years industry experience with progressively increased customer facing direct sales responsibilities including industry competitive pricing, demographic patterns, and market competition
+ Five (5) years industry funeral/cemetery pre-need direct sales experience
+ Three (3) years experience coaching leadership sales force teams with proven ability to achieve sales goals
+ Three (3) years experience using sales analytical tools
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Professional interpersonal skills as well as cultural sensitivity and tactfulness to interact with a variety of cultures and language barriers
+ Demonstrated knowledge working with databases and automated analytical tools
+ Ability to adjust to competing deadlines and priorities
+ Skilled at managing both the big picture and fine details
+ Strong influential verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficient in MS Office suite including email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Ability to travel as needed
+ Bi-lingual skills preferred

+ Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
+ Frequent local and/or multiple location traveling required
+ Professional Dress is required when in contact with families.
**Work Postures**
+ Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
+ Climbing stairs to access buildings as needed
**Physical Demands**
+ Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage

+ Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
+ Travel up to 25%
