Regional Sales Director
Location: Texas or surrounding states.
Territory: Texas + surrounding states (multi-state region generating $200M–$250M+ in revenue)
Industry: Building Materials / OEM
The Opportunity
We’re representing a market-leading manufacturer in the building materials space with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and performance. Backed by U.S.-based manufacturing and a resilient supply chain, this organization continues to deliver strong, consistent financial results and strategic growth across key verticals.
We’ve been engaged to identify a Regional Sales Director to lead the South region — with Texas serving as the anchor and primary growth engine. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct collaboration across business units and executive leadership. It’s built for a commercial leader who excels at driving performance through both strategy and execution — especially in rep-driven sales environments.
Why This Role Stands Out
Texas-Centered Growth: Texas is the crown jewel of this territory — commanding market share and continued investment — with high growth expectations and sales visibility.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead go-to-market execution across Texas and the Mid-South region, influencing sales coverage, channel priorities, and territory focus.
GM-Level Ownership: Full commercial leadership over internal sales resources, independent rep agencies, and business development managers across the region.
U.S. Manufacturing Advantage: With domestic production and supply chain strength, the business is well-positioned amid market volatility and tariff risk.
Executive Exposure: Report directly to the SVP of Sales and collaborate closely with senior leadership and BU heads on performance strategy.
Long-Term Leadership Potential: This is a key role in the company’s succession planning roadmap — ideal for a high-performing sales leader with future executive ambition.
Who We’re Looking For
Background: Director or VP-level sales executive in OEM, building materials, plumbing/mechanical, HVAC, or adjacent sectors
Revenue Scope: Experience managing large territories or regions with $100M–$250M+ in annual revenue
Sales Channel: Strong track record of success leading independent rep networks and channel-based go-to-market models
Leadership Style: Strategic, operationally minded, data-driven, and able to influence performance without direct control
Location: remote. Looking for Director to sit in Texas or surrounding states.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Competitive and flexible, based on experience
Bonus: 30–35% annual performance bonus
Equity: Long-term incentive plan included
Travel: ~50%, including regular visits to HQ for leadership meetings
