Director of Sales

Regional Sales Director
Location: Midwest-based
Territory: Multi-state region generating $200M–$250M+ in revenue
Industry: Building Materials / OEM

The Opportunity
We’re representing a market-leading manufacturer in the building materials space with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and performance. Backed by U.S.-based manufacturing and a resilient supply chain, this organization continues to deliver strong, consistent financial results and strategic growth across key verticals.

We’ve been engaged to identify a Regional Sales Director to lead the Midwest — a $200M+ region critical to the company’s commercial success. This is a senior leadership role with direct access to the executive team and visibility across multiple business units. It's ideal for a commercially driven executive ready to take ownership of a high-performing, high-potential region.

Why This Role Stands Out

Strategic Command: Drive the go-to-market strategy across a 14-state region with influence over product positioning, channel alignment, and regional sales execution.

GM-Level Ownership: Own performance across internal sales teams, rep agencies, and business development resources with full P&L influence.

U.S. Manufacturing Advantage: With domestic production and strong operational agility, the organization is well-positioned against tariffs and global supply chain volatility.

Executive Visibility: Report directly to the SVP of Sales and collaborate regularly with senior leadership and business unit heads.

Long-Term Succession Potential: This position plays a key role in long-range leadership planning — a strong performer in this seat will have opportunities to move upward.

Who We’re Looking For

Background: Director or VP-level commercial leader in OEM, building materials, plumbing/mechanical, or adjacent sectors

Revenue Scope: Experience managing large regions or territories of $100M–$250M+

Sales Channel: Proven success working with independent rep networks and driving results through indirect channels

Leadership Style: Strategic, data-driven, and collaborative; strong operational thinking and business acumen

Location: Based in the Midwest or open to regional travel (~50%)

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Competitive and flexible, commensurate with experience

Bonus: 30–35% annual performance bonus

Equity: Included as part of long-term incentive structure

Travel: ~50%, including quarterly meetings with executive leadership

Relocation: Available for the right candidate
