Director of Sales, Luxury - Japan, Korea and Micronesia will provide sales leadership and focuses on creating and delivering a strategic sales approach to developing the Japanese and South Korean Luxury market for Luxury branded Hotels, currently Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Conrad, NoMad and Signia by Hilton.
\nThe role will also drive relationships in Japan, Korea and Micronesia with the Asia Pacific luxury partners. Lead strategic account management & development with existing & new luxury accounts in the region from all market segments as well as provide support around key distribution channels specific to the Asia Pacific markets.
\nIn addition, the position supports Asia Pacific luxury sales efforts by engaging with all HWS teams within the regions and constantly ensuring that they can articulate the Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Conrad, NoMad and Signia by Hilton value proposition.
What will I be doing?
\nAs the Director of Sales, Luxury - Japan, Korea and Micronesia you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nTo lead sales strategy for Luxury Sales in Japan and South Korea in alignment with the Asia Pacific Luxury Sales Organization.Metrics: Overall increase in annual revenue & market share.\nTo collaborate & support leadership on property for Luxury sales teams within the Japan and South Korea regions.
Metrics: Inter-regional Luxury Sales support plan including customer engagement activation\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key luxury accounts with the specified regions, which have a high propensity to book luxury brands, typically have small volumes, and high ADRs.
Metrics: Revenue and ADR from luxury accounts.\nEngage with all HWS teams in the specified region to serve as the conduit for Luxury Sales in Asia Pacific; hold necessary training sessions, webinars, and meetings to deepen the understanding and articulation of the Luxury brands and specific global luxury product. Lead joint sales activities with HWS teams within the specified regions to differentiate.\n\n
Targets should contain the following
\n\nTotal sales influenced revenue to region specific luxury hotels\nJapan and Korea outbound revenue of luxury consortia\n\n

Planning Activities
\n\nLead and create an inter-regional Luxury Sales activation plan for allocated regions\nDevelop strategic focus on Account Management, key partnerships, and distribution to move market share inter-regionally and outbound\nDevelop powerful personal relationships with decision makers and influencers within the top producing accounts & partnerships\nEnsure that measurement systems are in place & robust to track accurately the production of all targeted accounts.\nSet objectives that are aligned with Asia Pacific Luxury Sales organization & key hotel business plans\nWork with the relevant organizations and Associations in the region to ensure that Hilton Luxury brands achieve maximum gain and exposure\n\nOrganizing Activities
\n\nOversee HWS Luxury customer engagement within specified regions i.e., organization of Luxury trade shows, sales missions etc.\nTake the lead in ensuring Salesforce implementation is accurately set up.\nPartner with B2B Brand sales marketing on the appropriate marketing activities to underpin the account strategies and deliver increased customer and market share.\nPlans and directs assignment of tasks ensuring optimum effectiveness, accountability, and use of resources.\n\nDirecting Activities
\n\nDirects development and administration of team.\nProvides leadership & direction to team members and establishes work priorities to achieve management objectives.\nExecutes organizational directives and encourages achievement of goals through motivation, communication and leadership.\nConducts effective management of third parties, identifies vendors and monitors costs and quality of service.\nReviews Account Development Plans on a quarterly basis, updating records accordingly.\n\nSupportive Functions within the Luxury Brands

\n\nA minimum of 7-year experience in a hotel industry sales leadership role within Asia Pacific.\nA minimum of 10-year experience within the Luxury hospitality market or equivalent industry.\nUniversity degree at bachelor level or experience in lieu thereof.\nExperience working in multi-cultural or international settings.\nFluency in spoken and written Japanese and English with a preference for Korean.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\n\nAdvanced degree preferred.\nExperience in other commercial functions, e.g., revenue, marketing, e-commerce etc.\n\n
