As a proud member of the Leadership Committee, the **Director of Rooms** plays a highly visible and impactful role, reporting directly to the General Manager and shaping the guest experience across multiple departments. **About the Role:** As **Director of Rooms** , you will lead and inspire a team overseeing key operational departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Spa, Recreation, and Security. This role willchampion the elevation of our recently transformed guest rooms, suites and villas to align with Grand Hyatt’s uncompromising luxury.You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while driving business results through strategic planning, operational excellence, and team development. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives in a high-volume, luxury environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. This position is eligible for **Incentive Compensation** bonus. This is the pay range for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead all aspects of Rooms Division operations, ensuring seamless coordination between front-of-house and heart-of-house teams. + Maximize occupancy and room revenue by analyzing rate trends, monitoring market conditions, and adjusting strategies accordingly. + Oversee large-scale events and high-occupancy periods with precision, ensuring all special requirements and service expectations are met. + Collaborate on capital projects, renovations, and equipment upgrades that enhance the guest experience and operational efficiency. + Conduct weekly divisional meetings and monthly financial reviews with team leaders and senior leadership. + Develop and manage department budgets, forecasts, marketing plans, and labor schedules. + Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team within the Rooms Division. + Participate in the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) rotation and support resort-wide operational excellence.
