Job Description OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION: The Director of Rooms for Rosewood Red Sea, located along Saudi Arabia’s pristine west coast, is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences in line with Rosewood’s ultra-luxury standards and Red Sea Global’s vision for regenerative tourism. The Director will lead a team to create memorable, personalized guest interactions while maintaining operational efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with brand and local standards in a culturally rich and environmentally sensitive destination.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee all guest-facing operations to ensure seamless, personalized service that exceeds expectations, aligning with Rosewood’s commitment to refined hospitality. • Manage and mentor the Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services teams, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize room operations, ensuring timely check-ins, pristine accommodations, and responsive guest services. • Support Red Sea Global’s environmental goals, such as zero waste and minimal ecological impact, by implementing sustainable practices in housekeeping and guest services. • Prepare and manage the Rooms Division budget, optimizing resources while maintaining luxury standards and controlling operational costs. • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and service delivery to ensure compliance with Rosewood’s quality standards and guest satisfaction metrics. • Design and implement training programs to enhance staff skills in guest interaction, cultural sensitivity, and luxury service delivery, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for workforce development. • Work closely with other departments, such as Engineering and Food & Beverage, to ensure cohesive operations and a unified guest experience. • Monitor guest feedback through reviews, surveys, and direct interactions, addressing concerns promptly and implementing improvements to enhance satisfaction. • Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and Rosewood’s brand policies, including adherence to cultural and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications in hospitality management are a plus. • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in rooms division management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort. • Proven ability to lead diverse teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate staff and collaborate with stakeholders. • Deep understanding of luxury hospitality and a passion for delivering personalized, memorable guest experiences.
