Director of Revenue Cycle-Denials Management

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** The Director of Revenue Cycle – Denials Management will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of denials management across the physician revenue cycle. This role will oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and workflows that reduce denials, drive collections, and improve overall reimbursement performance. Leads the development and implementation of policies, workflows, and best practices focused on reducing denials related to eligibility, authorization, and post-submission issues. + Analyzes denial trends using data and reporting tools to identify root causes and implement targeted solutions at the market and location levels. + Develops strategies to improve cash collections, reduce revenue leakage, and ensure alignment with payer requirements through proactive communication and collaboration. + Oversees an analyst and manage relationships with external consultants and third-party billing vendors to support operational efficiency. + Ensures data integrity, supports revenue valuation reviews, and promotes standardized, effective processes across the physician and ambulatory revenue cycle. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + Preferred Credential(s): + Accountant. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. **Additional Preferences** + Experience managing denials within a physician revenue cycle setting + Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret denial data and identify trends + Familiarity with payer requirements, including eligibility and authorization processes + Previous leadership experience managing teams in a revenue cycle or financial operations environment + Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clinical, billing, and payer stakeholders + Knowledge of healthcare billing systems and denial management tools + Demonstrated ability to develop and implement workflow improvements that reduce denials and increase revenue \#LI-Remote \#InternalOps **Why Join Our Team** Ascension associates are key to our commitment of transforming healthcare and providing care to all, especially those most in need.
