About the role:

The Director of Revenue is responsible for leading the hotel's commercial strategy to maximize revenue across all departments. This involves analyzing market trends, developing pricing strategies, managing inventory, and collaborating with various teams to optimize revenue performance. The Director of Revenue also oversees the CORE department.

What you will do

Oversee pricing strategies for rooms, spa services, dining, and other hotel amenities, adjusting rates dynamically to optimize demand and revenue.

Monitor competitive market trends, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies accordingly to stay ahead of market changes.

Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and front office teams to establish pricing structures and promotional offers that maximize occupancy and revenue per available room (RevPAR).

Lead the development of pricing strategies, including room rates, packages, and offers for peak seasons and special events.

Conduct regular analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to drive performance.

Oversee the forecasting process, ensuring accurate projections of room availability, revenue, and demand trends.

Maintain a strong relationship with the sales and marketing departments to ensure alignment on pricing strategies, promotional activities, and revenue goals.

Use advanced analytical tools and data to continuously assess and optimize revenue strategies.

Act as a key stakeholder in business development efforts, advising senior leadership on revenue growth opportunities.

Control rooms and rate availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Coordinate group inventory and allocations with the Director of Sales and Marketing, develop and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the revenue management of reservations function.

Operate and manage a Property Management System and monitor Delphi Marketing Management System.

Produce / Analyze Daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting as required.

Produce and publish a monthly analysis/report summarizing the month end reservations activity.

Assist in the creation of the annual Marketing Plan and Annual Budget

Establish and/or manage the following: Published, Package and Negotiated Rate Strategy Tiers, Segment Ceilings based on historical and current demand, incentive plans/program for Reservations agents and managers, Rate/Yield Strategy Worksheet, Rate/Yield Strategy within PMS, Front Desk Upsell program, Front Desk Perfect Fill Program.

Develop and execute revenue management strategies to maximize overall revenue across all hotel departments, ensuring profitability while maintaining Four Seasons' high service standards.

Lead and manage the Department Head in the CORE department. Involved in CORE team hiring, training, and performance management.

Maintain favourable working relationships among team members to promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency.

Always display a high level of integrity and professionalism in all dealing with co-workers.

Participate/Conduct/Attend scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested, Yield, Forecast, Department, Pre-Con’s, Board of Operations, Sales and Marketing and Annual Revenue Management Conferences.

Perform other tasks as directed by the Commercial Director and hotel management.

Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and planning committee.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

5+ years’ experience in revenue management within a luxury hotel or resort environment.

Proficiency in English.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable revenue strategies.

High energy level, exceptional people skills, and enthusiasm for the global hospitality business.

Expert system experience, RMS, PMS, benchmarking, and BI tools.

In-depth understanding of market segmentation, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on service excellence.

Working knowledge of the sales & catering system is a plus.
