Hospital Details VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents. Responsibilities Responsible for serving as the Director of all rehabilitation services for the facility. The Director works to fulfill functions of achieving clinical and financial operational goals. Monitors admissions and treatment schedules, assists in marketing, implements facility policy as appropriate, assists in development of new programs, ensures rehab department meets the Joint Commission and CARF accreditation where applicable, as appropriate to the vision of facility. Provides additional administrative supervision and rehabilitation management as established by the Chief Executive Officer/Governing Board. Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree required. Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist in the state of employment required. Minimum five (5) years of therapy-related experience required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Master’s Degree in an allied health field preferred. Three (3) years management experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and with inpatient psychiatric population. Ability to remain calm under stress or in emergency situations. Ability to interact with people who are under physical and / or emotional stress. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
