Essential Job Functions:Quality Assurance & Data Analysis
Analyze quality assurance indicators to identify trends and drive continuous improvement across all communitiesPrepare and present comprehensive monthly reports on quality indicators to executive leadershipDevelop and maintain quality metrics dashboards using advanced Excel functionsMonitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, and operational performance metricsIdentify opportunities for quality enhancement and develop strategic improvement plansRegulatory Compliance & Auditing
Manage annual regulatory audits for all communities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulationsCoordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspection processesMaintain current knowledge of changing regulations and communicate updates to community teamsDevelop and implement compliance monitoring systems and protocolsContinuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
Monitor and oversee the CQI process at the community level to ensure consistent implementationFacilitate quality improvement meetings and provide guidance on best practicesCollaborate with community administrators to implement evidence-based improvement strategiesTrack and report on the effectiveness of quality improvement initiativesRisk Management
Oversee claims reporting processes and maintain accurate loss run documentationManage and direct the claims management team to ensure timely and appropriate claim resolutionCollaborate with insurance carriers and brokers during claims investigationsAssist in annual insurance renewals by providing comprehensive loss data and risk assessmentsAnalyze claims trends and implement preventive measures to reduce future incidentsTeam Support & Collaboration
Assist regional and community teams in developing and implementing plans of correctionProvide training and mentorship to community staff on quality assurance processesPartner with clinical teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actionsSupport communities in achieving and maintaining regulatory complianceData Management & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive quality databases and reporting systemsCreate detailed analytical reports using advanced Excel features including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulasDevelop automated reporting processes to streamline data collection and analysisEnsure data accuracy and integrity across all quality metricsMinimum Eligibility RequirementsEducation & Licensure
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMaster's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferredExperience
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare settings3+ years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or healthcare administrationProven track record of managing quality improvement initiativesExperience with regulatory surveys and audit processesExperience in risk management, claims administration, or insurance processes preferredTechnical Skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, data analysis tools, and dashboard creationStrong computer proficiency across Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with healthcare data management systems and electronic health recordsFamiliarity with quality improvement software and reporting platformsCore Competencies
