Director of Recruitment

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Recruitment to lead executive and strategic recruitment initiatives for our luxury resort and hotel property. This high-impact role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and securing top-tier leadership talent—including General Managers, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Assistant Directors—who embody the excellence, sophistication, and service ethos of our brand.
The Director of Recruitment will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights into market trends, talent pipelines, and innovative recruitment strategies. This role will focus on high-level talent acquisition while overseeing a Recruitment Manager and Recruiters responsible for daily operations, volume hiring, and local recruitment events.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all executive-level recruitment efforts for key leadership roles across the resort and hotel property. Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify and build strong talent pipelines for high-impact leadership positions. Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, executive search firms, and hospitality networks to enhance the organization’s visibility and appeal to top talent. Partner closely with the executive team and department heads to understand hiring needs, align recruitment efforts with organizational goals, and influence talent strategy. Provide innovative and strategic recommendations for recruitment programs, employer branding initiatives, and pipeline development. Analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly. Oversee and mentor a Recruitment Manager who manages local, volume, and event-based hiring. Ensure a seamless, high-touch candidate experience that reflects the resort’s luxury brand standards. Maintain awareness of competitive talent landscape and hospitality industry hiring trends. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to strengthen the talent brand and attract best-in-class professionals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP) preferred. 8–10+ years of progressive recruitment experience, with at least 3 years focused on executive-level talent acquisition within the hospitality or luxury sector. Proven track record of successfully placing senior-level talent in a fast-paced, high-touch environment. Deep understanding of hospitality industry dynamics and luxury service expectations. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities. Experience leading and mentoring recruitment teams and managing external search partners. High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
