The R&D Director at Agilent Technologies in Denmark will Organize and lead the Pathology Solution Lifecycle Support R&D organization to enhance and maintain systems that comprise Agilent’s Pathology product offering and to provide on-site leadership support to the overall Pathology R&D team.
The job responsibilities and tasks will include:
Managing and directing the Pathology Solution Lifecycle Support R&D team in the Clinical Diagnostics DivisionOverseeing the design, development, and implementation of efforts to enhance and sustain solutions within the Pathology DivisionRepresenting Pathology R&D as primary point of contact for on-site leadership demandsActing as R&D leadership representative in country specific capacities, including management Worker’s Council (SU)Aligning dynamic needs related to solution lifecycle support activities with a broad and diverse set of internal stakeholdersRegularly interface with Order Fulfilment and Procurement functions to ensure supply continuityContinuously evaluating, developing, and optimizing organizational capabilitiesCreating and communicating long-term strategic plansEnsuring overall budgets, schedules, performance standards are established and attainedEstablishing alignment between performance management objectives and execution of Agilent, LDG, CDD, and Pathology strategy.Contributing to the development of the long-term Pathology strategyContinuously developing the team to instill a Solutions-oriented methodology to sustaining activities, while driving a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and domain knowledge growthEnsuring the Agilent Quality System is optimally used in all relevant Pathology Solution Lifecycle Support activities.QualificationsEducation:
Bachelors or master’s degree or higher University qualification in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.Experience:
Industry experience managing a range of departments and functions in complex technical domains.Demonstrated industry experience integrating the resources of several departments or functionsKnowledge of applicable Medical Device standards and regulationsFluent in spoken and written EnglishAt least 7 years of increasing management experience.At least 10 years of product development experience.Skills & Competencies:
