Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering required.  Graduate Degree in Metallurgical Sciences or a similar field is highly preferredStrong leadership qualities, including the ability of building a team, envisioning and articulating the strategy, and passionately owning and driving the team towards achievementMinimum 7 years experience leading a strategic Quality organization for systems, processes, and productsStrong command and understanding of thermal processing, chemical processing, nondestructive testing, material laboratory testing, castings, forgings, extrusions, and metallurgical practicesExperience implementing quality systems and leading change through strategic directionStrong command of aerospace quality specifications, SAE, ASTM, AMS, NASM, ANSI, AS/EN/TS/PPAP/CAPA standards, and customer specifications/requirementsUnderstanding NADCAP AC7102, AC7006, AC7114, AC7101, AC7108

Howmet Aerospace Structures is seeking a a Director of Quality to manage and enhance the Quality Systems across key processes, including melting, forging, flattening, and finishing titanium. This role involves driving improvements in the overall product quality at the site while leading a team of quality engineers and overseeing laboratory operations.
