Director of Product Marketing – AI Business Solutions

We are looking for an experienced **Director of** ** Product Marketing** **– AI Business Solutions** to lead our Copilot Frontier team. This team explores the edge of what’s possible with AI, bringing early-stage, experimental products to life for the most curious and innovative users.  This role offers the opportunity to lead the team who influences Microsoft’s AI strategy by launching groundbreaking products that redefine productivity and collaboration. You’ll work closely with engineering partners to develop and deliver preview experiences within the Frontier system -- our platform for early AI product exploration.  In this role, you’ll define the go-to-market strategy for early-stage AI products and collaborate closely with engineering to bring preview experiences to life within the Frontier system. You’ll lead the translation of technical innovation into clear, accessible value for early adopters and AI-curious users.  We seek an experienced manager with a proven record of managing high-performance teams, fostering collaboration, nurturing talent and embodying Microsoft’s culture and values. In this role, you will lead by example as a player-coach that delivers success through collaboration, empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring. Job Location: The primary location for this position is Redmond, WA. Additionally, there are three other locations where this role may be based. Finding ways to gain customer feedback and iterate quickly to beat the market to key product features – and when ready, determine the right GTM (go-to-market), pricing and packaging with Business Planning based on deep technical knowledge and market insights. + **AI Product Release & Launch Processes:** Partnering with product and engineering teams – plus with our outbound functions to develop a product release process that gets our products out more quickly, and when launched elevates the experience and output to make a lasting impression with our customers and other audiences. + **Frontier Experiences:** Build a funnel from marketing execution to our product, customer and evangelist experiences. Lead our efforts to be ‘best-in-class' in our product and experiences for virtual, digital and in-person executions. + **Cross-functional Orchestration & Measurement and Performance:** Lead teams to build partnerships and coordinate efforts (e.g., Engines & Experiences, Software Engineering [SWE], Business Planning, other PMMs) to track performance of programs with a great detail, monitor the flow of products and performance, develop strategies to optimize to achieve targets and share this out to internal audiences. + **Team Leader:** Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing product marketers to achieve business objectives while developing and nurturing talent. Help to shape a team culture where everybody thrives. + **Embody our** ** ** **Culture** ** ** **and** ** ** Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture) **  ** **Qualifications** **Required/minimum qualifications** + Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams + OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams + OR equivalent experience. + 4+ years people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams). **Additional or preferred qualifications** + Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams + OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams + OR equivalent experience. + 6+ years people management experience. + Experience working collaboratively across a large organization. + Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic working environment with a high degree of accountability in an innovative, startup-like or agile environment, with ability to execute. + Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects (often including project management of cross-functional virtual teams). Product Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
