Job Summary:
The Product Management Leader is a strategic business driver responsible for owning and scaling product categories to meet evolving customer needs and market demands. This role goes beyond traditional product management by adopting a business ownership mindset. The role will be accountable for category performance, innovation, and long-term value creation in alignment with desired customer outcomes.
This position leads a team of Product Managers, in addition to Technical & Design Services and Codes & Compliance teams, defining and executing product strategy in alignment with company objectives. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to deliver industry-leading product roadmaps, optimize profitability, and ensure Carlisle continues to lead in system solutions and market relevance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Product Vision Define and execute a comprehensive product management strategy aligned with executive leadership’s goals and market dynamics. Develop and champion multi-year product roadmaps grounded in customer needs, competitive analysis, and growth opportunities. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team Product & Portfolio Ownership Own full product lifecycle management including new product development, SKU rationalization, and line extensions. Own the stage-gate process and ensure alignment across R&D, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain Ensure all products meet regulatory, listing, and certification requirements throughout the lifecycle. Market Insight & Opportunity Analysis Partner with marketing to gather, synthesize, and cascade customer insights across the organization. Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to guide product decisions, positioning, and pricing. Identify and size addressable market opportunities and forecast category growth. Business Performance & Pricing Strategy Analyze monthly category performance (revenue, margin, pipeline) to inform tactical adjustments and strategic planning. Own strategic pricing, providing tools and guidelines for Sales based on cost, competitive dynamics, and profitability targets. Drive continuous improvement through cost optimization, reformulation, and value engineering efforts. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive demand generation, channel enablement, and value messaging. Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure product availability, quality, and efficient go-to-market execution. Actively participate in industry events and associations to stay ahead of trends and influence market direction. Process Excellence & Best Practices Define and implement best practices in product management, including structured roadmapping, VOC integration, and portfolio reviews. Establish scalable SKU management and product governance processes.Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field required. A master’s degree is preferred. At least ten years of experience in product management and long-range planning required. Building material industry preferredTravel Requirement:
