Director of Product Management – Vehicle Intelligence & Integration

Launched in 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and sercies allow Ford's retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact with them and the value those vehicles provide.

In this position…

You will define and execute the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for Ford's in-vehicle intelligence platform. We are looking for an experienced, visionary product leader who is passionate about shaping the future of automotive experiences through AI, intelligent assistants and advanced sensing technologies.

You'll have…

Bachelor's degree8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in voice assistants, personalized recommendation engines or other AI-powered experiencesBackground in consumer electronics, automotive technology or connected servicesDemonstrated ability to lead large-scale software projects or product portfolios.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProven track record of solving tough problems and delivering working solutions throughout your careerAbility to learn new skills and knowledge through self-initiativePassion for serving your customers

A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical fieldAbility to work in person in our Palo Alto, CA or Dearborn, MI offices

What you'll do…

Own the in-vehicle intellience product and feature roadmap, including comprehensive launch and rollout strategies.Understand the competitive landscape and emerging technologies/trends and find ways to differentiate ourselves.Translate customer needs ainto clearly defined technical requirements backed by data and comprehensive industry knowledge.Measure our success and improve our products using principled methods and metrics.Forge strategic partnerships with leading technology providers and experts to drive advancements in Ford’s vehicle intelligence product offering. Drive alignment between engineering, design and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.Articulate the in-vehicle intelligence vision, address challenges and report progress to Ford's executive leadership.Effectively manage short-term tactical needs while advancing long-term strategic objectives.
