LEGENDS & THE BUFFALO BILLS

The Buffalo Bills and Legends have an expansive partnership to support all aspects of the Bills New Stadium Project including stadium design, planning, feasibility studies, project management, data analytics, marketing and holistic revenue generation across hospitality, partnerships, ticketing, and suites sales. Legends is proud to represent and support the Bills during this historic moment in Western New York and is focused on delivering the most fan-experience driven stadium in the National Football League. 

THE ROLE

The Director of Premium Services position will report to the Assistant General Manager and is responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the premium services operations including Clubs, Suites, Club Level, In-Seat Service, and all other pertinent areas of premium services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Manage all facets of premium food and beverage operations to achieve operational budgets, manage monthly P&L statements, and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff responsible for executing the premium business plan. Achieved planned costs in labor and COGS and work within budgeted guidelines. Develop annual operating budget and quarterly reviews vs plan. Provide quality service and excellent products while maintaining positive customer and client relations and prudent financial practices. Oversee monthly inventory for premium services operations. Accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as creating a working relationship with local health officials. Ensuring proper operational condition of all food service equipment, integration and implementation of technology for a smooth and seamless guest experience Work closely with subcontractors to ensure all operational needs are met and the terms of contract are followed. Develop new concepts that best serve the desires of our guests and incorporate industry trends. Recruit, interview, hire, train and further the abilities of all event service staff. Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 5-7 years of management experience in the contract foodservice industry, with at least 3 years in premium services or the equivalent, in a sports and entertainment venue.

 SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment Unwavering commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership and management skills Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of Legends and management Must be available to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to work in a team environment Experience with Appetize and NCR/Quest point-of-sales systems is required Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures is preferred Experience in a union work environment preferred. Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium events. Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators.

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 plus bonus potential, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
