Director of Player Personnel
The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Player Personnel to support the Men's Football Program. The Director will supervise the recruiting department and oversee the day to day recruiting operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for developing a yearly recruiting plan for all recruiting periods throughout the year. Communicate the plans to the Head Coach, Compliance Office, and coaching staff.Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the recruiting department.Manage and maintain upkeep of squad list, scholarship grid, and status changes.Manage walk-on program and coordinate an annual walk-on tryout.Serve as compliance staff liaison for recruiting related issues and ensure that the program is in line with compliance for all recruiting activities.Oversee evaluation & scouting of all high school and college prospects.Verify all offers with offer protocol check list and keep record of all offers extended.Work with Director of High School Scouting & ensure all prospect transcripts are evaluated prior to an offer being extended.Oversee the transfer portal process and confirm all transfer PSA’s meet PTD requirements and matriculate properly.Oversee the development and maintenance of the Virginia Football recruiting board.Manage off campus recruiting plan (coaches on the road) and work with Director of High School Scouting to coordinate school visits.Coordinate all flight requests pertaining to recruiting for the Head Coach.Track all evaluation days and contacts made during each respective period.Serve as primary liaison between ARMS Software and Football Staff.Assist with all Summer Football Camps.Work with Director of Creative Strategy on all graphics sent to PSA’s and parents.Work with Director of On Grounds Recruiting and Director of Creative Strategy to develop unique and creative mailers (envelopes, note cards, and materials).Work with Director of On-Grounds Recruiting to schedule all recruiting meetings.Work with Director of On-Grounds Recruiting in development of annual recruiting budget.Supervise all Coaches Recruiting Assistants (CRA’s).Assist with all On-Grounds Recruiting.Assist Director of HS Relations with coaches clinic.May assist with on field football technical and tactical coaching.Empower our players to live from the HEART.Follow all rules of University of Virginia, Virginia Football, NCAA, ACC, and CSC.Assist in promoting an atmosphere of compliance. Get approvals from the Compliance Staff before acting to ensure actions are consistent with NCAA, ACC, and CSC rules.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Two years of relevant experience in collegiate athletics program support.
Licensure: None
