Job Title: Director of Operations / Plant Manager
Location: Crossett, AR/Dallas, TX

Job Summary:
The Director of Operations / Plant Manager will lead the end-to-end manufacturing operations for a facility focused on producing Electrical Balance of System (eBOS) products—including UL1741-compliant assemblies, electrical harnesses— and mechanical structural components through component assembly, metal fabrication and injection molding processes. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, quality, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, safety, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure world-class manufacturing performance and product compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Direct and manage plant operations including production, planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business goals for eBOS and structural products. Ensure compliance with UL1741 and other relevant standards for electrical product manufacturing. Lead daily operations across injection molding, metal fabrication (sheet metal, stamping, welding), and electrical harness assembly lines.Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput. Evaluate and implement automation and technology upgrades to increase productivity and consistency. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and enhance operational performance.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with R&D, engineering, and product development teams to support new product introduction (NPI). Collaborate with Quality, EHS, and Regulatory teams to uphold product standards and certifications. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and delivery.Team Leadership & Development
Build and mentor a high-performing team of managers and supervisors across all departments. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, innovation, and continuous learning. Conduct performance reviews, talent development, and succession planning.Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to UL1741 standards, OSHA regulations, and other relevant electrical and mechanical manufacturing codes. Maintain and enforce safety protocols to create a zero-incident workplace.Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations; at least 5 in plant management. Deep experience in manufacturing environments involving: UL-compliant electrical assemblies (preferably UL1741) Harness design and assembly Metal fabrication (CNC, stamping, bending, welding) Plastic injection molding Electro-mechanical assemblySkills & Competencies
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems (ISO, UL), and lean methodologies. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and large-scale production environments. Financial acumen—budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. ERP/MRP systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Preferred Certifications:
