Job Description:

Caterpillar has an exciting leadership opportunity for a Director of Orders Management & Operations for our Global Planning & Demand Management group, a position to be based in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Global Planning and Demand Management group is part of Caterpillar's Strategic Procurement and Planning Division which is responsible for designing, developing, and connecting world-class capabilities to create value across the entire ecosystem – from the supply base through our manufacturing process – to connect with our dealers and customers.


This Director of Orders Management & Operations will lead a global team working across the enterprise and dealer network to achieve customer and business requirements.  

While this role will be based in Geneva, Switzerland it will lead a team of roughly 100 primarily in Geneva, India, Brazil and the U.S.
 

What you will do:
• Manages order management process and operation including data, workflow, compliance, product configuration and dealer communications on available product options.

• Provides service and support to a global dealer network as it relates to orders processing and managment.

• Maintain machine configuration and price list updates.

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to improve the overall order management process, reduce grief, and improve ease of doing business with.
