Description
A growing property management firm is seeking a Director of Operations to lead its multifaceted property operations team. This full-time, hybrid role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on leader with deep experience in residential real estate operations and a passion for optimizing systems and team performance.
Role Overview
The Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of property operations, including revenue management, tenant relations, internal communications, legal coordination, utilities, systems, project management, and quality control. This individual will collaborate across departments to implement effective solutions, uphold operational standards, and drive performance toward organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
+ Develop actionable reporting for both operational teams and executive leadership
+ Build and maintain systems using platforms such as Monday.com and Zendesk
+ Supervise multiple teams including revenue, communications, utilities, and special projects
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
+ Guide hiring and development of remote team members
+ Foster relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
+ Provide coaching, feedback, and training to maintain a high-performing team

Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field
+ 7–8 years of experience in property management, preferably in multifamily or residential real estate
+ Proven ability to manage teams of five or more direct reports
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
+ Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead strategic initiatives
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with lease administration, landlord/tenant relations, and financial oversight
+ Familiarity with operational systems and process optimization
+ Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams
