In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee cross-functional departments (design, plastics, shop) and spearhead operational improvements in complex tooling, ISO standards, and systems engineering. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to build structure, streamline processes, lead hiring, and strengthen customer relationships. ResponsibilitiesLead and manage operational departments across tooling, design, and plasticsDrive hiring, onboarding, and performance review processes across teamsServe as internal ISO 9001 and ITAR/CMMC compliance leadDevelop and maintain Work-In-Process reporting and project status updatesServe as key customer contact; attend trade shows and association meetingsPartner with ownership and shop foremen to improve throughput and delivery performanceLead marketing and business development strategy; track win/loss analyticsQualifications and RequirementsStrong machining/tooling background with knowledge of complex assembliesFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ITAR, and CMMC Level 2 standardsExperience in program management or systems engineeringHR and hiring experience, including job postings, filtering, and forecasting staffing needsAbility to obtain customer site access (background check required)Excellent communication and people leadership skillsNo degree required; practical experience highly valuedBenefits and Perks$120,000 base salaryPOS medical insurance (70/30 employer/employee split)Onsite role with provided laptop and phoneTravel ~25% to customer sites and trade eventsStable, long-standing business with low turnover and significant upside potentialYour New OrganizationJoin a privately owned precision tooling and assembly company with deep roots in the aerospace and defense sectors.
