Description
We are looking for a dedicated Director of Operations to lead and manage all aspects of our travel and event operations. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments, excels at problem-solving, and is highly organized. Based in La Verne, California, the Director will play a pivotal role in planning, scheduling, and executing international travel experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full lifecycle of travel and event operations, including scouting destinations, planning itineraries, and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate and manage travel arrangements, ensuring seamless logistics for all events and trips.
• Conduct in-depth destination research to identify ideal locations that align with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for team operations and event planning.
• Ensure effective time management and adherence to timelines during all phases of travel and event execution.
• Monitor and report expenses, maintaining budgets and ensuring cost-efficiency.
• Lead event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and on-site operations.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure clear communication and coordination across all operational stages.
• Utilize creative problem-solving techniques to address challenges and adapt plans as needed.
• Travel extensively, spending 8-9 months per year abroad to oversee international operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably with a tour provider.
• Proven expertise in coordinating and managing travel arrangements, including international travel.
• Strong skills in scheduling, time management, and event logistics.
• Holds a valid U.S. passport and is willing to travel extensively throughout the year.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with teams and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory; intelligence, adaptability, and hard work are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to create detailed plans and execute them efficiently.
• Experience with expense reporting and maintaining operational budgets.
