Director of Oncology Marketing, User Experience (UX) Marketing
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%Position Summary: Natera is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead strategic marketing efforts that position our User Experience (UX) innovations as a defining strength within oncology diagnostics. This leader will highlight the clinical and operational value of our intuitive workflows and advanced data visualization platforms. A key goal is to support the broader integration of Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) testing into the standard of care, emphasizing its power in improving outcomes for oncology patients. This role will manage multi-channel campaigns, cross-functional initiatives, and thought leadership to reinforce Natera’s market leadership in digital oncology UX.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans focused on Natera’s digital UX and MRD workflows that support precision oncology.
Drive strategic messaging that communicates the clinical utility, operational efficiency, and patient-centered impact of MRD testing.
Promote Natera’s data visualization tools and digital reports as critical enablers of evidence-based clinical decision-making.
Collaborate across clinical, medical affairs, product, and commercial functions to align MRD positioning with oncology best practices.
Design and launch campaigns targeting oncologists, tumor boards, and care teams to promote the adoption and integration of MRD testing.
Create and enhance sales enablement tools and educational resources to illustrate how Natera’s UX innovations streamline test adoption in routine care.
Oversee agency and vendor partnerships to produce compelling, evidence-based content for a variety of oncology stakeholders.
Present strategic initiatives, adoption trends, and campaign performance metrics (KPIs) to executive leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, or healthcare technology required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in diagnostics, oncology, or digital health marketing.
Demonstrated success in promoting innovative testing platforms or care management technologies.
Familiarity with MRD testing and its growing role in oncology treatment decision-making is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of oncology workflows and user-centered healthcare technology design.
Proven ability to craft compelling clinical and operational narratives for varied audiences.
Skill in translating complex scientific concepts into clear, accessible marketing content.
Track record of launching or scaling diagnostic or digital health products into clinical use.
Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills across functions.
Deep commitment to advancing precision medicine and improving patient outcomes through digital innovation.
This is a remote position.
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
