Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing Facility | Gastonia, NC

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our skilled nursing facility in Gastonia, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care and team development.

Position Summary:
As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the highest quality of care, and fostering a positive and collaborative environment for staff and residents alike. You will lead the nursing team with integrity, vision, and a deep commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction for the nursing department
 Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
 Recruit, train, and retain top nursing talent
 Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans
 Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
 

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of North Carolina
 Previous DON or strong ADON experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
 Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
 Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices
