Education:
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required, and a Master's degree is preferred.
Licensure:
Applicants must hold a current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of New York.
Work Experience:
A minimum of three to five years of managerial experience is required, along with at least three to five years of experience in a long-term care setting.
Skills and Competencies:
The role requires strong collaboration skills, particularly the ability to work effectively with medical staff, department managers, and the public in a professional and courteous manner. Candidates must also be able to manage stressful interactions and handle confidential information with discretion. A broad understanding of long-term care regulations is preferred.
Salary Range: $118,250.00-$137,500.00
