Director of Nursing Services -DON / DNS

Williamsbridge Center is actively seeking an experienced DON / DNS for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bronx, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department

Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and best practices

Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff

Monitor staffing levels and ensure team competencies are up-to-date

Supervise nursing conduct and provide performance guidance

Maintain awareness and oversight of clinical events within the facility

Conduct resident health assessments and collaborate on care planning

Qualifications:

Current RN license in New York State (required)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in long-term care nursing

At least 2 years in a nursing leadership or supervisory role

Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills
