Job Summary: Maintains 24 hour accountability for the nursing functions at Courtland Terrace. Provides leadership and manages all aspects of nursing operations consistent with the Corporate and Facility Mission. Responsible for the facility when administrator is absent. Qualifications: BSN completion required within three years of hire. Current RN license to practice in NC (NC license or multi-state (compact) license). At least 5-10 years of progressive leadership responsibility in healthcare and a strong background in long term nursing care required. Thorough knowledge of leadership/management theories and applications. Positive and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge and skills of motivation and group dynamics.
