About the Role

• Drive significant value by ensuring growth and profitability of the regional MNC portfolio in the region across all channels and global networks for the international clients assigned under GCS’ responsibility in collaboration with AIA local business units.
• There may be some instances where an MNC client is in one country only and that the distribution partner will want to work with AIARS. This role will support this but in general MNC’s will be across multiple countries.
• Deliver revenue and profit uplift for BU’s.
• Identify and anticipate market trends, customer and distribution needs and business opportunities for revenue growth. Look at product proposition to support new revenue growth.
• Develop and lead the regional business development team to execute distribution and relationship strategies to achieve regional MNC new business, account growth and higher persistency.
• Deepen working relationships through strategic partnerships with key international brokers to grow corporate solutions portfolios in core CS markets.
• Develop risk financing products and reinsurance infrastructure where required.
• Create and promote AIA Regional Solutions branding with marketing activities and focused clients and partners’ workshops and events
• Develop business opportunities and individual HNW business through contacts at the senior management level of selected multinational brokers and collaborate with and support GPD to gain individual HNW business.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to secure regional MNC new business opportunities for AIA Regional Solutions (AIARS) employee benefits network and for AIA LBUs by leveraging relationships with our business partners - both pooling/captive and non-pooled multinational business.Prospect relations with clients, brokers and consultants in the region and drive the overall proposition to acquire, grow and retain clients.Lead relationships with regional MNC clients, develop bespoke client strategies and oversee the account management team to meet clients’ objectives, and drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling of services whilst ensuring satisfaction.Define strategic partnerships and regional agreements with key brokers and consultants to promote business growth by penetrating markets and clients via different product segment.Institutionalise the enhanced broker governance & engagement model to maximise profitable growth with key international brokers. Embed this in LBUs’ strategy.Understand and support AIA group’s global brokers’ strategy across all distribution channels and Company’s functions to enhance governance on brokers’ spending and engagement at all levels of the organization for optimal outcome.Align with key internal and external stakeholders on engagement, KPIs and growth objectives for international brokers.Maximize cost savings opportunities by leveraging on AIA Group’s strength with partners’ dealings. Create visibility, governance and opportunities for upselling AIA’s products and solutions via the international brokers strategic distribution channel.Working closely with HO/ Regional HRs, CFOs, Risk Managers and Procurements of Global and Asian MNCs to grow value by deepening relationships and penetration through cross and up-selling of protection products, as well as increase persistency for existing MNCs.Lead the development and promotion of AIARS products and service offerings and provide subject matter expertise to LBUs.Provide advice to LBUs on structure, talent and resourcing to support MNC sales and servicing.Support LBUs in developing and leveraging best sales practices to derive greater value and increase share of business from key brokers through transforming relationships into strategic partnerships.Timely and accurate management reports tracking all sales and client relationship activities.Develop in collaboration with other departments new products and solutions including health initiatives, Data and Analytics offerings and wellbeing propositions that support the BU’s and MNC’s.

Minimum Job Requirements

Strong track record in growing Life and Health business.Bachelor or post graduate degree or at least 12-yrs experience with significant senior leadership experience. FLMI required.Established experience and track record in corporate life and health business, actuarial/underwriting experience an advantage.Country management including CS leadership experience.Track record of strategic business and client development.Strong financial and commercial acumen.Broad exposure to a combination of the following: finance, marketing, sales, operations, customer service and product.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A second language preferred.Must be proficient in Windows, PowerPoint and Excel.
