Salary:$80,000 to $98,000 per year.Schedule:9AM-5PM, Monday- FridayLocation:15 Grumman Road W, Suite 1000 Bethpage NY 11714Reports To:CAC Director The Director of Mental Health Services is responsible for overseeing all counseling services provided through the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), ensuring delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based clinical services to children and families. This position provides clinical supervision, program oversight, quality assurance, and administrative leadership for the mental health team. What You'll Be Doing + Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all mental health services at the CAC. + Supervise and support Mental Health Counselors and Intake Specialist staff. + Conduct clinical supervision, case consultation, and oversight of treatment planning and documentation. + Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, agency policies, and professional ethics standards. + Actively attend and participate in MDT case reviews and case management meetings, providing clinical consultation and expertise to the team coordinate with MDT partners to ensure integrated service planning and collaboration on client cases + Monitor program outcomes, generate reports, and participate in continuous quality improvement activities. + Oversee compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and contractual requirements. + Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, which may include individual or group supervision with a senior clinician in the community or consultation calls with mental health providers from other CACs across the state. + Participate in staff hiring, onboarding, and professional development. + Maintain a limited clinical caseload as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned by the CAC Director or EAC Network Administration. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required: + Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist in NYS required. + Minimum of three years post-licensure clinical experience, preferably working with child trauma and abuse populations. + Minimum of one year supervisory experience required. + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. + Knowledge of evidence-based trauma treatment models such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction therapy (PCIT), Alternatives for Families Cognitive Behavior Therapy (AF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).Experience working within a multidisciplinary team model strongly preferred. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. + Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. + Valid NYS driver’s license and access to automobile required.
