Director of Marketing Presource
Cardinal Health’s Global Medical Products and Distribution (“GMPD”) segment, focuses on U.S. and International Products and Distribution businesses. We offer reliable quality packs for various medical procedures. With more than 190,000 standard and 75,000 custom packs produced per day, Presource® Solutions can help meet procedural kitting needs across the continuum of care. Standard kits contain the core components needed for the surgeries performed in healthcare facilities. Custom kits are built to suit specific needs and preferences. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Medical Products & Solutions Marketing, the **Director of Marketing, Presource®** is responsible for all U.S. downstream marketing activities for the portfolio including go to market strategies, pricing and promotion to maximize the financial performance of the business. The portfolio consists of products and procedural solutions that enable our customers to drive clinical safety and efficiencies in patient care for a surgical or medical procedure. The director will manage a team of 4-5 employees and will need to effectively engage with cross-functional partners in sales, sales enablement, finance, legal, marketing, among others. **Responsibilities:** + Provide leadership and mentoring, as well as business and personal development to direct and indirect staff. + Leads business commercialization activities for the Presource Business throughout the US Region (Acute and ASC space) + Translates market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross-functional support from all stakeholders. + Identifies and is well versed on market trends. Determines product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success. + Executes primary research (VOC) that are necessary to drive portfolio/product decisions. Identify market opportunities through VOC/secondary research and acts by implementing and managing solutions that meet market needs. + Identifies the appropriate channels to market by understanding market trends and competitive positioning. + Uses financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Demonstrates sound thought processes as it relates to pricing, forecasting and assessing financial implications. + Works effectively across cross-functional groups including but not limited to sales, communications, operations, and IT. + Collaborates with Commercial Enablement to equip Sales with the necessary tools and materials to sell our products effectively including training sessions, product collateral, and custom sales strategies. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + 8-10 years of experience, preferred. + Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. + Healthcare experience preferably in medical products and/or solutions. + Experience in leading high performing teams preferred. + Strong ability to initiate strategy discussions, execute projects and manage various marketing activities. + Strong attention to detail and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively; Excellent written and oral communication skills + Thrive in a collaborative environment, acting as a connector between cross-functional stakeholders. + Ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and an open mind. + Willingness “to roll up your sleeves” to solve problems for customers, team, and business. + Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at shaping processes and strategies to support our customers in a fluid environment. + Ability to travel up to 20%. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
