**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
Ascension is seeking a visionary and experienced marketing leader to serve as the Director of Marketing – Pediatrics. This role will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of pediatric marketing initiatives across our system, including our close alignment with Dell Children’s. This individual will lead high-impact campaigns that promote pediatric services, build brand awareness, and deepen community and provider engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Marketing & Brand Development:** Develop and lead the comprehensive pediatric marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth priorities. Elevate the Dell Children’s and Ascension pediatric brand positioning through targeted campaigns, community partnerships, and thought leadership. Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and positioning across all platforms and markets.
+ **Pediatric Service Line Promotion:** Partner with clinical and operational leaders to understand pediatric service offerings and key differentiators. Drive campaigns that increase awareness and utilization of pediatric specialties, primary care, and hospital-based services. Align marketing efforts with physician priorities and regional growth strategies.
+ **Integrated Campaign Leadership:** Lead the planning and execution of multichannel campaigns, leveraging digital, social, traditional, and community-based tactics. Collaborate with creative, digital, and media teams to deliver compelling storytelling focused on child and family-centered care. Measure impact and optimize based on performance data.
+ **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Serve as the key liaison between pediatric service lines and marketing, communications, strategy, and business development teams. Partner with referring physician and provider marketing teams to develop materials and outreach efforts.
+ **Team Leadership:** Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals and external agency partners. Foster a high-performing, innovative, and collaborative team culture.
**Requirements**
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
**Additional Preferences**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
+ 8+ years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing with a focus on pediatrics strongly preferred.
+ Proven experience leading integrated marketing campaigns in complex matrixed organizations.
+ Strong understanding of digital strategy, brand development, and community engagement.
+ Exceptional communication and project management skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence across clinical and executive leadership teams.
