Our location in Austin, TX currently has an opportunity for a Director of Marketing and Commercial Excellence to oversee the Canada and Latin America Regions for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business. This leader will manage the CRM division’s Marketing and Commercial Excellence functions. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** Lead divisional marketing, communications, training, and education strategy across Canada & Latin America (CALA) + Lead the CALA Marketing and Education team: + Collaborate closely with affiliate GM’s and marketing leaders to align regional initiatives with global strategies and affiliate needs. + Manage product lifecycle, identify growth opportunities, and expand market reach. + Drive commercial excellence through multi-channel strategies and sales force effectiveness and ensure traction across all countries within the region. + Analyze market data and sales operations to inform strategic decisions. + Design business solutions that enhance customer access and engagement. + Align internal systems and processes to support divisional sales and marketing activities. + Represents and advocates ‘HV- LV -ICM & Aveir’ interest of CALA to the Division. + Creates a culture around “world class” leadership” at CRM and corporation and drives sustainable leadership. + Lead the CALA Commercial Excellence team: + Set-up and implementation of multi-channel strategy based on customer insights and market trends in the device industry in alignment with the marketing strategy and company objectives. + Develop and drive implementation of sales force effectiveness (SFE) and ensure traction across all CALA countries. + Develop overall management of CALA Commercial Excellence process ensuring modules are delivered to the timelines planned and that the project objectives are met. + Design and Implement innovative strategies through the development of Business Solutions concept that maximize customer access to Abbott CRM portfolio of products. + Reporting and analysis of all aspects of sales operations, gained market experience and knowledge to make recommendations that impact the Area commercial strategy. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING** Required: + BA/BS required; scientific or business degree preferred. + 10+ years of experience in strategic or global marketing, product management, or commercial excellence roles in the medical devices or healthcare technology sector. + Experience leading product launches and driving adoption in competitive, fast-moving medical devices or healthcare technology markets. + Strong critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and ability to translate customer insights into actionable plans. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence across matrixed teams. + Willing to travel ~30-40% to connect with teams and markets across Latin America & Canada.
