P.F. Chang’s is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Local Restaurant Marketing to lead initiatives that drive guest traffic, elevate brand presence, and support restaurant-level growth across the U.S. This highly visible role will partner with cross-functional teams and field operators to develop scalable local marketing programs that deliver real business results.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Direction: Own the field marketing strategy across all U.S. markets. Build scalable programs that drive results at the local and regional levels.Local Marketing Playbook: Develop and maintain a comprehensive Field Marketing Playbook that equips operators and field teams with tools, templates, and best practices to execute high-impact local campaigns.Inbound Request Management: Act as the central point of contact for inbound marketing requests from the field. Manage a clear and efficient intake process, prioritize needs, and provide timely, brand-aligned support.Restaurant Partner Support: Build strong relationships with restaurant operators and field leaders to identify opportunities, co-create localized strategies, and ensure alignment on business goals.Local Activation: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns tailored to individual restaurant needs—including grand openings, remodel reopening’s, and local partnerships.New Restaurant Openings: Lead the local marketing strategy and execution for new restaurant openings. Collaborate with operations, training, real estate, and brand teams to build pre-opening awareness, drive opening week traffic, and establish early community engagement.Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with local vendors, event partners, and sponsorship contacts to support campaign execution and brand presence in key communities.Digital & Social Integration: Collaborate with digital and social teams to amplify local activations, generate UGC, and identify influencer or event-based opportunities that elevate brand visibility.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Culinary, Digital, and Brand Marketing to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless execution.Analytics & Optimization: Track performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and optimize strategies to ensure measurable business impact.Budget Planning & Management: Oversee the field marketing budget with a focus on efficiency, value, and impact at the local level.What You’ll Bring:
10+ years of local field marketing experience (restaurant or hospitality preferred)Proven success executing local campaigns and building scalable marketing infrastructureStrong digital/social media knowledge and community engagement experienceExcellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skillsWorking Conditions:
Requires up to 40% travel to support restaurant teams, events, local marketing initiatives and meetings in the office.Benefits:
