Director of Legal Technology Job ID 217513 Posted 30-Apr-2025 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Digital & Technology/Information Technology Location(s) Atlanta - Georgia - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Director of Legal Technology, you will assist with providing strategic vision and supervision for the knowledge management program and technologies of the department including the administration of the department’s document management tool; as well as migration from our current legal hub/ tool to our future state legal front door and workflow tool. This role involves ensuring the effective integration and optimization of legal technology solutions to enhance productivity and compliance within the legal department. **What You’ll Do:** + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. + Provide strategic direction and oversight for all document management initiatives, driving innovation and optimizing workflows across the organization. + Document systems, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity and compliance with best practices. + Oversee the administration of the document management system, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. + Assist in the development of a comprehensive technology vision and strategy for knowledge management and legal front door, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. + Lead the migration project from the current workflow tool to the new system, including planning, execution, and BAU operate. + Develop and manage technology budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for technology initiatives. + Conduct process engineering and mapping to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations. + Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for legal technology tools and processes. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align technology solutions with business needs. + Provide insights into technology integrations and the legal technology stack and solutions. + Collaborate across the legal technology team and step in to assist on technology support across all platforms. + Manage a diverse team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. + Serve as the liaison between legal operations and internal teams including D&T, external vendors and consultants. + Stay updated on legal technology trends and innovations to recommend enhancements or new tools. + Provide training and support for staff with legal technology tools and best practices. + Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes and standards within job discipline. **What You’ll Need:** _To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.
