Job Summary
The Director, Imaging is responsible for overseeing all imaging services within the facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services, facilitates the implementation of best practices, and adheres to industry standards and regulations. The Director will collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care, manage the imaging department's budget, and lead a team of imaging professionals to achieve departmental goals. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans for imaging services, continuously improving operational efficiency, and maintaining state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology preferred 4-6 years experience as a radiologic technologist in an acute care setting required 2-4 years of supervisory experience required 5-7 years experience as a radiologic technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred 2-4 years director experience in a hospital imaging program preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Expertise in overseeing all imaging services within a healthcare facility. Ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Skills in facilitating the implementation of best practices in imaging. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for diagnostic imaging. Competence in collaborating with all departments, with a strong emphasis on surgery, emergency room, cardiac, and critical care departments, to optimize patient care. Skills in managing the imaging department's budget. Leadership abilities to guide a team of imaging professionals. Capability to develop strategic plans for imaging services. Proficiency in continuously improving operational efficiency. Knowledge of maintaining imaging technology. Ability to maintain staff schedules to meet the demands of the department.Licenses and Certifications
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required and Licensed Radiologic Technologist As required by state required and BCLS - Basic Life Support required
