We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Home Care Operations to lead our in-home care team. In this critical leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure compliance, and drive growth while upholding the highest standards of care and customer service. Location: Bangor, ME  Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt Compensation: Competitive Salary, Performance Bonus Potential  Key Responsibilities + Lead all aspects of office operations, including supervision of internal staff and indirect oversight of caregiver teams + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements + Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve service delivery and business performance + Develop and implement effective strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining top-tier care staff + Foster community relationships and build referral partnerships to grow the business + Oversee financial operations to optimize revenue and control costs + Respond to after-hours and emergency situations as needed + Promote a culture of compassion, service excellence, and professionalism What You’ll Bring + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred (or equivalent relevant experience) + 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, ideally within the home care industry + Proven experience managing teams, driving operational excellence, and achieving business growth + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) + Strong interpersonal, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills + Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance Physical Requirements + Ability to lift up to 10 lbs + Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently throughout the day + Must have adequate vision and hearing, with or without accommodation Why Join Us?
