Director of Global Business Operations - Bioprocessing

Join Ecolab as a Director Global Business Operations. The Director of Global Business Operations has a responsibility to lead the Commercial excellence and business operations of the division’s Global Bioprocessing business, which includes sales operations management (e.g. CRM, sales tools, incentives), sales effectiveness (e.g. pipeline health, field activity metrics) and managing and tracking of key growth initiatives including external commercial partnerships.  In addition, this individual will have leadership responsibility to build out a team of 3-5 over time, in the areas of sales enablement, sales operations, and internal sales. The role will directly report to the General Manager and be a part of the Bioprocessing Commercial leadership team.

What You Will Do

Create and sustain commercial operational consistency and compliance, in line with strategic objectives, across the global Bioprocessing business to ensure effective delivery of the commercial planLead projects that will drive further operational efficiency and impact global alignmentIncrease sales effectiveness through strong sales analytics, including utilizing, optimizing, and maintaining the data integrity of the CRM system, field activity reporting, and other sales tools that support the full commercial teamExecute and track growth drivers /growth initiativesOwn the Sales & Operations (S&OP) process from a commercial standpoint and manage commercial coordination with the manufacturing plant. Drive compliance and report out improved KPIsLead Sales incentive programs and work alongside Finance and HR in execution, analysis, and adjustments of these programsLiaise with both internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Bioprocessing business, including aggregating and presenting data to Senior ManagementDrive pipeline health, lead management, and follow up, with strong analysis, recommendation, and execution on outcomesManage external commercial partnerships in coordination and metric trackingTrack compliance to MSA deliverables, including measures, lessons learned, and best practice sharingImplement and maintain a Sales Reporting platform (I.e. Power of BI)

Position Details

Candidate must reside within a commutable distance of King of Prussia, PA20% overnight travel, both domestic and global

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent.10 years commercial/sales operations experience.5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences manufacturing and/or development industry 3 years of people leadership experience Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, cross division, cross function, and externally.Strong analytics background, uses data driven insights in decision makingFluency in English language

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree, or MBAProven Leadership skills and self-directed orientation.Bioprocessing background with deep industry knowledgeKnow-how in developing pricing strategies Strong project management backgroundNegotiation and communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $145,400.00 - $218,200.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
