Director of Finance
Description We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to oversee and optimize financial operations within our organization. In this role, you will lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance efforts to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the organization's general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Lead the monthly financial close process, reviewing all financial statements and reports for completeness and accuracy. • Develop and maintain grant accounting procedures to ensure proper tracking and reporting of funds. • Utilize Sage Intacct software to streamline financial processes and reporting. • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including audits and tax filings. • Collaborate with other departments to compile and analyze financial documents and data. • Supervise document control processes, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining financial records. • Implement best practices for financial operations and accounting processes to improve efficiency. • Provide strategic financial planning and guidance to support organizational objectives. For more information please contact jerome.johnson@roberthalf com Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles. • Proficiency in managing general ledger operations and monthly financial close processes. • Advanced knowledge of Sage Intacct software and its applications in financial management. • Demonstrated expertise in grant accounting and compliance. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and interpret financial data. • Excellent organizational skills for managing document control and financial records. • Familiarity with non-profit financial regulations and standards. • Effective communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders and leadership.
